Afternoon Workshop

About this class

Artists are sometimes diligent at painting in the cold and rain, but for the most part we spend our days retreating to cafes for hot drinks and cakes to bolster our sketching. This workshop is about drawing cafes and shopfronts, which hold an almost indescribable lure. Trinkets, cakes, and furniture are what will catch my eye, but what about yours? The session, from 1:30-4:30, includes a sketchbook prompt on drawing shop fronts and cafes - whether that of the bustling Stroud area or Italian courtyard. You’re welcome to bring photographs of your own to work from. I’m It's up to you if you'd like to take part in this task, or bring in your own projects to work on with guidance during the session.
