About this class

So many landscapes seem to be painted with a set of rules. I’ve always found that daunting, not knowing how to go about beginning. But sketchbook landscapes aren’t like that; they’re simply small snippets, experiments to capture the colours and sense of a place. In autumn this truer than ever, so this is a little class aimed at simply starting somewhere. The session, from 1:30-4:30, includes a sketchbook prompt on drawing scenes of autumn in the Stroud Valley. You’re welcome to bring photographs of your own area, or leaves and plants that show the colours of autumn. I’m It's up to you if you'd like to take part in this task, or bring in your own projects to work on with guidance during the session. It is part of my monthly drop-in sketchbook course throughout 2024. Sessions will be on the Second Friday of the month and can be booked individually or as a package of 3 to mix and match when it suits you! Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, please get in touch as soon as possible. Full refunds are available if you cancel within 5 days of the class. Cancellations after this point, for example if you are unwell on the day, are not refundable but you may be offered a place on an alternative class.
