Original line and wash illustration, watercolour and ink on watercolour paper. I painted this piece, alongside other wildflowers near my home, as an envelope design during the 2020 summer lockdown.

Artist's note: 
In order to save paper, I often paint on both sides of a page. Many of my originals have small offcuts or snippets of other images on the reverse. Artist's have been doing this for centuries and small remnants like these are usually hidden by the frame or mount.
